1. Operator places 2x6 or 2x8 treated and
non-treated material on work tables. Applies adhesive
with an air operated adhesive gun.


3. By compressing ­two start up buttons,
the automated mechanical caddy will begin travelling
down the length of the post.

7. Metal gussets are first positioned manually.



9. The operator then presses the second and final
gusset joint.

 

2. After adhesive is applied and the 2x6 or 2x8 material
is set in place, the nailing process is ready to begin.



4. The caddy will apply both down and side roller
pressure prior to nailing. Two Bostitch N-100
guns are mounted on each side, nailing at 6” on
center totalling 4 nails per foot.


6. Shown here is the completion of the nailing
process. The caddy will stop automatically and
return to home position.


8. The operator rolls the posts' first gusset joint
to the hydraulic press.


10. Completed posts are conveyed on to mechanical stands.


 

11. The posts are then bundled and stacked for
delivery to the customer.
